The platform enables schools to receive and manage applications for school places.
1 The school’s role
The school you apply to is responsible for its application forms, admission policies, deadlines, assessment of applications and decisions about school places.
We provide the technology and do not make admission decisions. Submitting an application, or receiving an automated acknowledgement, does not guarantee a place. Offers
and acceptances are subject to the school’s admission policy and the conditions communicated by the school.
2 Your responsibilities
You must be entitled to submit the application and provide information and documents that are accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Contact the school
promptly if anything needs correcting. Keep your login details and application links secure. You must not access another person’s application without authority or misuse the platform.
3 Application queries and errors
Contact the school directly about application status, missing documents, offers, acceptance deadlines or appeals. If you believe an offer or message was sent in error, contact
the school promptly for clarification. If a technical problem prevents submission, contact the school before the closing date where possible. The school decides how alternative submissions
and deadline issues are handled under its admission policy and applicable law.
4 Personal information
The school is the data controller for application information. We act as its data processor, handling that information on the school’s documented instructions to provide and support the service.
We do not sell application information or use it for our own advertising. Access is limited to authorised school users, our authorised personnel and approved service providers where necessary to deliver
and support the service, or where disclosure is legally required.
The school’s privacy notice explains why information is collected, who may receive it, how long it is retained and how to exercise your data-protection rights.
5 Our responsibility
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for the school’s admission decisions or errors caused by
information or instructions supplied by the school or applicant, except to the extent that our own breach or negligence contributed.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory or data-protection rights.
